The Savory Center is an international not-for-profit organization established in 1984 to coordinate the development of Holistic Management worldwide. Holistic Management is a new, profoundly simple decision-making framework that can be used in any situation from your personal life to empowering people to deal effectively with problems as great as worldwide desertification, global climate change, or the development of an agriculture that could truly sustain civilization. American Planning Association
The American Planning Association and its professional institute, the American Institute of Certified Planners, are organized to advance the art and science of planning and to foster the activity of planning -- physical, economic, and social -- at the local, regional, state, and national levels. The objective of the Association is to encourage planning that will contribute to public well-being by developing communities and environments that meet the needs of people and society more effectively. APA's planning research includes Growing Smart, a multiyear project to draft the next generation of model planning and zoning legislation for the U.S.
